Hello there,
Chris Murphy here from Winnipeg, MB Canada. I purchased 2 quart bottles of bear scents in April
(Anise and Bacon). When speaking with you on the phone in April you asked if I get a bear with the assistance of your product if I could send you photo's. I have attached photo's of my color phase 7 "5" 500lb cinnimon bear ( male boar ) taken with shotgun slug at 10 yards near Thompson, MB Canada.
I had a friend of mine Blaine Snihor from Trapper Mikes Outfitting baiting my site in April and had several black bears hitting as per the trail cam photo's we observed but the big boy I got was not there. I drove from Winnipeg to Thompson the 3rd week in May and used your product all over the site. I use blue shop towels as they are absorbent and hold the scent. I bend 10 to 15 foot tree saplings down and spray the shop towels with your scent product and place the towel through a branch and release back up to full height. I do this about 100 yards out from my site in a circle perimeter all around my site. Very effective method when the wind blows.
I freshen the towels every 2nd day and we observed several more blackbears hitting than normal. On the 4th day of the hunt this big boy was observed on trail camera. I was able to take him on Monday May 30th, 2011 at 12:10pm after he had fought with a sow to try and get her cub. I took him at 10yards as he passed by my stand to go and attack the sow again. I skinned hom out and usually put the hide and head in my pack basket but his head was too big and to heavy to fit in the basket and could not carry out by myself. Blaine attended and helped me. I have taken many bears over the years with bow, crossbow, shotgun but this is the biggest so far. I do believe your product and our sweat equity in baiting assisted in taking this trophy bear of a life time.

I've read thru your testimonials and of course, I cannot really add much that hasn't already been said. I purchased the Bear Scents "anise" 2 years ago when our son received his tag (had to wait 8 years due to where we live and hunt, northwestern Wisconsin). We used it a few times just before he started his season and were amazed how quickly it pulled in bear! We had a camera set up over the bait. He was able to harvest a nice bear 5 minutes after I left him off at his tree stand, after I sprayed the area! And he was using a bow so you know the bear was close.
My season was this year and used the same bottle of spray but it still brought in bear! I shot one my first day out. Then I gave the bottle to a friend of mine that hadn't seen anything in the 4 weeks she'd been hunting. The day she used it, she shot a big 400 ponder! Her first bear as well!
Obviously, there is something to this scent! Keep up the good work! We'll purchase another bottle in 6 years when my son gets another tag!
