 My brother Butch and I have been using your products since 2001, which is the year we both got our first Black Bears. Attached is this years picture with my 260 lb. female who came in to check things out and will soon be a nice rug. We had bear coming in to all our baits even when the other hunters said the bear must have left the woods. I told everyone who would listen that your Bear Scents along with good bait and patience is the only way to hunt

I forgot to let you guys know how well they worked this year.
We hunted in the Vermillion Bay area in August. There was plenty of natural food for them (actually more than I liked) so we had a hard time pulling them into bait. 5 archery hunters and only 2 bears killed. Everyone had at least one opportunity but for one reason or another it didn't come together for 3 of my crew. Baits were being hit very sparingly. On most days there was maybe one bait hit out of 6 and more than once none. I have to give my props to you guys at Bear Scents, I think it’s the reason I connected. On the third day I was using the Anise scent and was down to the last couple ounces in the bottle. The wind was blowing my scent directly into the bait which I wasn't very happy about. So I decided to start misting the scent into downwind. About 2 minutes after I finished the bottle I saw a good sized bear about 80yds downwind, sniffing the air. He eventually came in and walked right past the bait and ended up about 3 yds from my stand. He then spooked and ran off. Returning about 5 minutes later. After an hour of video of him eating bait and leaving he gave me a nice broadside shot. The arrow took out both lungs and he ran about 50 yds. Ended up having a nice white spot on his chest and weighing 298# w/ a nice coat for August.
The other guys were worried that the scents were keeping the bears off the baits, so I was the only one really using them consistently. Not a good choice! Thanks for a great product.

I bought some of your bacon spray. Took it deer/bear hunting here in Virginia. Put it in double plastic bags under my travel trailer. We came off the mountain to go to church the first Sunday and upon return I discovered the bacon bear spray was gone! We found what was left of the bottle about 150 yds down the mountain. The bear finished it off. Hence, I never got to use it in a hunt. You did say that that sort of thing happens. Well, there's always next year.

I have lived in New Hampshire my whole life. I started bear hunting in the state of Maine. I hunted apple orchards with no luck. I heard alot of grunting and snapping, but never saw any bear. I new I was doing something wrong, they could smell me. I discovered your Bear Scents products and decided to give them a try. " BANG, IT STARTED"
I now hunt in northern New Hampshire. We can't bait until September 1st, but withing two days it has been hit. I give the bear two days of feeding to relax him. The third day, BANG, the job gets done. The anise bear scent is definately the key. I haven't had a problem shooting a bear since I started using your products. I use these products to lure the bear, as well as, a cover scent (I am a smoker). Anise has given me success for the last five years in the state of New Hampshire. I have recommended it to all of my hunting buddies, they love it! If you are looking for successful hunting, Bear Scents is the place to start!

"THANK YOU" for letting me purchase your product in April. I went on an all exclusive WOMEN Bear Hunt in June with 4 other ladies to Idaho. I was fortunate to take 2 bears in 2 hours with 2 bullets using the anise bear scent. I am sure that this product helped and just wanted to let you know that I think it was GREAT!!!! Thanks for making a great product!!!! Needless to say when I hunt this fall for black bear again in Minnesota I WILL use the product!!!

Thought you might like this pic of a bear my brother killed with his bow last night(his first bow kill). It's a dry sow, it weighed 242 lbs. dressed. We love your Bacon spray! I use your spray every time I refresh my bait, and swear by it. I wouldn't bother to put out a new bait without it!
